As many of you know, I enjoy translating work immensely and I’ve been working on translations just for fun for some two years now. However, as I recently got the chance to fulfill my dream to return to university and study abroad, I have to take into account the financial burden this change will bring.
I want to offer commissioned translations for all those of you who need help with Japanese texts that wouldn’t be fit for official translators - manga, doujinshi, tutorials (all including scanlations and editing), as well as blog posts, song lyrics, news, help with merchandise or about anything in Japanese you may need.
The prices will depend on how much work the translation and editing will cost me and will be clarified once I can see the material in question.
For more info about what I translate, how it works and what to expect, please read the info here.
Samples of my translations are here.
Body drawing review - translated version.
Thanks to losthitsu’s wonderful translation skills, I was able to fill in the untranslated parts for “Maria Theresa and the War of Austrian Succession”. There was tons of untranslated text, so be sure to take a moment to reread the page in its entirety! I also redid the typesetting on the images so it looks nicer and is easier to read. Enjoy! And let me know if you spot any mistakes so I can fix them.
Translated version of Himaruya’s Sweets Column from the recently published Sweets book. Scans kindly provided by jammerlea.
Hetavols note: these are the remaining one page omake illustrations/strips from volume 4. They hadn’t been scanlated before, but lost_hitsu was so kind to do both the translating and typesetting for them just recently. Thank you!
