It took Tino four years in Hogwarts to find out why all the older students said the gamekeeper could cripple unwanted guests just with the power of his inhuman glare - he found the rumored piercing eyes staring right at him, as he slowly blinked his way to consciousness after what he hazily remembered was a fall from a tall Forest fir.

He nearly fainted back on spot, just as he noticed the spoonful of broth offered to him together with the silent scowl.

(Four more years and the students start spreading rumours about two strange men inhabiting the small cottage tucked just at the edge of the Forest.)
